How do I attach a file to a task?

You can connect Remember The Milk to your Dropbox or Google Drive account, and when you attach a file to a task, we’ll upload it to your cloud storage. You can also attach existing files from your Dropbox or Google Drive account to your tasks.

Upload a new file from your computer

If your file hasn't yet been uploaded to your cloud storage:

  1. Select a task that you want to attach a file to.
  2. Click 'Add field' and select 'Attachment' from the drop-down.
  3. Under 'Upload new from...', click the Dropbox or Google Drive account that you'd like to upload your file to. (Note: If you haven't already connected Remember The Milk to your cloud storage, you'll be prompted to do so at this point.)
  4. Select the file you want to upload from your computer, and click 'Open'.

Attach an existing file from your cloud storage

If your file already exists in Dropbox or Google Drive:

  1. Select a task that you want to attach a file to.
  2. Click 'Add field' and select 'Attachment' from the drop-down.
  3. Under 'Choose existing from...', click the Dropbox or Google Drive account that has your file. (Note: If you haven't already connected Remember The Milk to your cloud storage, you'll be prompted to do so at this point.)
  4. Select the existing file you want to attach, and click 'Select' or 'Choose'.
